An array of colour & interdiciplines of art, Danielle Chappell has captured a contemporary visual interpretation of Britains seaside heritage & culture she envisioned on Blackpools coastline. Following research of the various identities & characteristics of Blackpools tourism & being brought up in a family ran hotel, the conceptual connection of the cabanna tents represeting hotels & repetitive standard VACANCIES/NO VACANCIES signs were subconcious to this project.

Linear Rhythm was featured at Club 'One Central St' in Manchester as an experiment to see how the work would react in the space of a night club, after all its inspired by the music scene, so in context it went. The photography of the art installation was the stronger element of the work in terms of commeriality, Danielle has since sold some prints from this Collection. The installation was made from felt, recycled tubes, synthetic fur and lycra. (Big thanks to Leroy Richardson)!
